Westminister 2012
We have watched some parts of the Westminister Kenel Club show and are impressed with some of the dogs. The Kuvasz looked great. The Neapolian Mastiff looked like crap. Somehow, I think it is more of the same. Dogs that were created for a purpose to aide man in his quest for life and survival are now reduced to lap warmers. The commentators always talks about the purpose the breed was created - and then say something "these dogs now enjoy the show ring or provide companionship for Americans." Yup... great.
